About
From September 2018 I am a Ph.D. student in the Faculty of Informatics at the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI), Switzerland. At present I am working at the SEART research group under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gabriele Bavota. In 2019 I accomplished an agreement for the implementation of a cotutelle de thèse with the Faculty of Engineering at Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. I work under the co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Mario Linares-Vásquez, head of the The Software Design Lab (TSDL) research group.

Research
Nowadays we witness a hyper-connected society and new services and sophisticated functionalities are developed for the comfort and welfare of society; thus, one can perceive that everything is based on software, however, security vulnerabilities, risks and threats are strongly present as well, despite the security community’s best effort. Therefore, I have focused my career path on the Information Security field (specifically in Software Quality and Security) in order to make the digital world a safer place with more secure software.
